You are also invited to attend the Cedar Springs Church International small group on Sunday mornings. They meet at 10:45 a.m. in B207.
Cedar Springs Members: Volunteers are needed for the evening classes only. We need 2 teachers and 2 assistant teachers. Making friends with and teaching English to the foreigners among us is a wonderful way to represent Christ’s love. Teaching experience is not a requirement, but the ability to make friends and to help them learn to speak English is necessary. Materials and help will be provided to ESL teachers. If you have an interest in helping foreigners and immigrants learn English and adjust to American culture please contact Mike Ballast (see contact information above).
“When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land . . . I am the Lord your God.” - Leviticus 19:33-34
