SNAP Response: Loving Our City

October 31, 2025

Start: 12:00 pm

What is the SNAP Freeze?
The SNAP freeze refers to the suspension of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits starting November 1, 2025, affecting over 42 million Americans, including 34,000 in Knoxville, who rely on the program for food assistance. The critical need is to ensure food assistance remains accessible.
