Cedar Springs Weekday School currently also has several part-time openings in our 2s and 3s classes for the 2026–2027 school year.

The Generations Ministry invites the women of Cedar Springs to participate in a six-week course titled Finishing Well: Finding the Sacred in Aging. The study begins in the Fellowship Hall on Monday, July 27, from 10:30 AM to noon, and will continue every Monday until the final session on August 31. This six-week program aims to equip women to live righteously as they navigate the changes that come with aging.

Special Needs Ministry Volunteer Buddies are needed to serve in our Family Ministries during the 9:30AM service on Sunday mornings. No experience with children and students with special needs is required. We ask that our volunteers commit to serving at least twice a month.

Ready to Worship! is for kindergarten, first, and second graders and comes alongside families to assist with the transition into worship in the sanctuary.

The Caring Ministry invites you to join a 6-week Grief Group designed to offer support, understanding, and hope for those navigating loss. Led by Raquel Harvey from Ebenezer, this group will explore topics such as the nature and stages of grief, common symptoms, and healthy ways to cope.

Divorce takes a toll on us emotionally, physically, financially, and spiritually. This class is for anyone struggling in the midst of or aftermath of divorce. Class topics include the stages of grief; when emotions overwhelm us; thinking & responding differently; the power of anger & resentments; letting go and moving forward.

Buddy Blastis a family respite event for kids (age birth through 21) with special needs and their siblings. Activities for kids will include free play, centers, games, crafts, music, lunch, and gym time. Parents get to pull away and have some much-needed time to themselves, going out for a meal, shopping, attending a movie, or maybe taking a nap. Volunteers are always needed and can register here, as well!

ASL Workshop is a faith-centered program tailored for individuals who already possess a foundational understanding of American Sign Language. Participants will enhance their existing skills by exploring advanced vocabulary, sentence structures, and expressive signing, focusing on communication relevant to worship, prayer, and church community environments.

Join us this fall from September 5 to 7 for Family Camp at Fort Bluff Camp in Dayton, TN. This event offers families a wonderful opportunity to step away from their daily routines, connect with other families, immerse themselves in God’s Word and prayer, and, of course, have some fun! This weekend is designed to encourage and equip families to disciple their children in the Lord.

The Caring Ministry is hosting a four-part series Dementia Conference and Resource Fair. Join us for Part 3 on September 11 and concluding with Part 4 on November 13. Each meeting will take place from 9 AM – 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The conference will run from 9:00 AM to noon with guest speakers and provided resources, followed by lunch.

If you are interested in taking the next steps to join Cedar Springs, you will need to complete our Membership Class Series which follows the New Members Dinner. At the end of this series, prospective members will complete the necessary steps to officially become members of Cedar Springs.

God is actively inviting us to join in His mission. Everyone is welcome to attend our Global Mission Group meetings to learn more about missions at Cedar Springs. At Cedar Springs, the Global Mission Group thoughtfully manages the church’s mission efforts by engaging with both global and local ministry partners, providing support through encouragement and accountability. This group consists of ten smaller teams, each focused on a specific mission purpose.

Finding community after graduation can be challenging. The Lighthouse offers a monthly gathering for adults with special needs to connect with one another. A time filled with laughter, play, discipleship, and serving.

Knowing the Story of God (KSG) Registration is now open! We invite all K-5th grade students to join us Wednesday evenings, beginning September 10, from 6-7:30pm as we learn to grow in our knowledge of the Bible and love for Jesus.

Students will receive guidance and training, equipping them to take the stage and lead worship on select Sunday mornings throughout the year. Rehearsals will take place on Wednesdays, starting September 16, from 4:45 - 5:30 PM in the Education Building.

If you're participating in reading through the Bible with The Bible Recap this year, be sure to join us for our Bible Recap Encouragement Night! Whether you’re on track, slightly behind, or just beginning, this evening is designed for you. Be inspired through biblical teaching and the experiences of other women. Our goal is to INFORM you of the local mission partners we currently support, INVITE you to give, and INVOLVE you in volunteering. We want to make it easy for you to know how to take your next step with Mission at Cedar Springs.

Worship is for everyone – but sometimes for people with disabilities, a typical worship service can present some obstacles. This inclusive worship night is for everyone, and will be designed to make it easy for those with and without disabilities to worship together. This night will be hosted by Cedar Springs Presbyterian in partnership with Joni and Friends, an organization focused on including people with disabilities as full participants in the body of Christ. Whether you or a family member have a disability – or not – join us for a simple night of singing, scripture reading, and a little bit of just hanging out together. Doors will open at 6:45 and the worship night will start at 7PM. 

Our Caregiver Support Group meets on the 4th Monday of the month. Join us from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Watershed Building in room W123. If you find yourself in the position of caring for a family member or friend—whether they're at your home, in their residence, in an assisted living facility, adult family home, or nursing home—you are invited to join us for connection and meaningful conversation.
