Cedar Springs is excited to offer short-term mission trip opportunities for those who want to serve, learn, and encourage our ministry partners around the world. These trips are a meaningful way to grow in faith, build relationships, and participate in the work God is doing beyond our local church.

Help us change the way foster care begins for children in our community by participating in the Isaiah 117 House Lemonade Stand Challenge! All you need to do is select a time and place to set up your lemonade stand between Friday, July 17 and Sunday, July 19. While you sell your lemonade, utilize the provided yard sign and brochures to raise awareness for the Isaiah 117 House Ministry.

Our Sanctuary Choir leads our congregation in worship on a regular basis throughout the year, including a monthly choral Call to Worship, weekly congregational songs, and additional service music. All adults are invited to join! Students ages 13 and up are also welcome. Rehearsals will take place on Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary.

Community Outreach is excited to host an event aimed at connecting with our local neighbors. In partnership with Mayor Glenn Jacobs’ School Mania initiative, Cedar Springs will distribute 500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies during this event. If you’re interested in helping make this event a success, volunteer today!

Generations will come together in the Chapel to sing their favorite hymns. By popular demand, each Sunday School class will select three hymns, with a member from their class leading the singing and playing the piano. Everyone in the church is warmly invited to join. After the singing, enjoy delicious ice cream from Cruze Farm in the Fellowship Hall.

If you find yourself in the position of caring for a family member or friend—whether they're at your home, in their residence, in an assisted living facility, adult family home, or nursing home—you are invited to join us for connection and meaningful conversation.

The Generations Ministry invites the women of Cedar Springs to participate in a six-week course titled Finishing Well: Finding the Sacred in Aging. The study begins in the Fellowship Hall on Monday, July 27, from 10:30 AM to noon, and will continue every Monday until the final session on August 31. This six-week program aims to equip women to live righteously as they navigate the changes that come with aging.

The College Ministry is providing our congregants with the opportunity to adopt a graduated high school senior to uplift with prayer during their first year in college, the military, or in their new job. We aim for all our incoming freshmen to experience the love and support of Cedar Springs as they are prayed for throughout the year ahead.

This summer, we're making space for conversations around a fire with good food and good men. Men's Fire Night is an evening built for every man in our church — whether you've been part of Men's Ministry for years or you've been meaning to get plugged in and just haven't made the leap yet. Either way, there is a spot by the fire with your name on it.

We will joyfully welcome new brothers and sisters in Christ with Immersion Baptisms at Lakeview Baptist Church, located at 932 Fox Road, Knoxville, TN 37922.

Ready to Worship! is for kindergarten, first, and second graders and comes alongside families to assist with the transition into worship in the sanctuary.

Students from 6th through 12th grade are invited to join! Rehearsals will take place on Sundays from 4 - 5:30 PM in the Watershed High School room. The Rejoice! Youth Choir performs several times a year during our worship services and engage in a missions/music retreat during the summer.

Our Global Mission Group Open House is an excellent opportunity for those interested to learn more about missions at Cedar Springs. During our Open House event, we will hear more about Global Mission from Piers van der Merwe and Local Mission from Kathryn Ann Laux. Newcomers will then have the opportunity to sit in on one of our team meetings that happen beginning at 7PM.

The Caring Ministry invites you to join a 6-week Grief Group designed to offer support, understanding, and hope for those navigating loss. Led by Raquel Harvey from Ebenezer, this group will explore topics such as the nature and stages of grief, common symptoms, and healthy ways to cope.

Finding community after graduation can be challenging. The Lighthouse offers a monthly gathering for adults with special needs to connect with one another. A time filled with laughter, play, discipleship, and serving.

Buddy Blastis a family respite event for kids (age birth through 21) with special needs and their siblings. Activities for kids will include free play, centers, games, crafts, music, lunch, and gym time. Parents get to pull away and have some much-needed time to themselves, going out for a meal, shopping, attending a movie, or maybe taking a nap. Volunteers are always needed and can register here, as well!

Join us this fall from September 5 to 7 for Family Camp at Fort Bluff Camp in Dayton, TN. This event offers families a wonderful opportunity to step away from their daily routines, connect with other families, immerse themselves in God’s Word and prayer, and, of course, have some fun! This weekend is designed to encourage and equip families to disciple their children in the Lord.

We invite everyone interested in learning more about Cedar Springs or those considering becoming a member to our New Member Dinner. This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet several of our staff and receive a brief introduction to Cedar Springs' beliefs and ongoing activities.

The Caring Ministry is hosting a four-part series Dementia Conference and Resource Fair. Join us for Part 3 on September 11 and concluding with Part 4 on November 13. Each meeting will take place from 9 AM – 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The conference will run from 9:00 AM to noon with guest speakers and provided resources, followed by lunch.
