However you say hello, you’re invited to our English Language Learners community. We are a group, getting to know each other, as we are learning English. We have ELL classes, plus lots of fun activities that include time to practice speaking English while building friendships.
Thursday English Classes
We offer free classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced speakers of English. The classes are each Thursday morning and evening. Classes are based on conversational English. Childcare for pre-school age children is available during the morning program, and Homework Club (K-9th) is available in the evening for children of ELL Students.
Monday Talk Time
- It is a great way to grow in your confidence of listening to and speaking English.
- You will have opportunities to share about your home culture as well as learning about other cultures.
- Come with any questions that you might have.

Where we meet
Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church is located at 9132 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923, at the corner of Kingston Pike and cedar Bluff in West Knoxville.
Classes meet Thursdays from 9:30-11:30am and 7-8:45pm.
Our Teachers
All teachers and staff are trained experienced volunteers and serve as teachers of English because of God’s love for all people. We want to make your experience here in the United States easier and more enjoyable. We consider it a privilege to be your friend.
