Cedar Springs Kids
At Cedar Springs, our goal is to partner with families in laying a foundation of biblical truth for the next generation.
We provide safe, age-appropriate environments where kids can learn about God’s plan for their lives through gospel-centered curriculum, small group discipleship, and worship.
Our classes are staffed with volunteers who not only love and care for your child but also teach a Bible lesson, which includes Scripture, prayer, music, craft and activity. We utilize the “Show Me Jesus” curriculum in our Preschool Ministry and “The Gospel Project” in our Elementary Ministry.
All of our volunteers have been background checked and are supervised in conjunction with the church’s Child Protection Policy. Our Check-In & Check-Out System is designed to provide for your child’s protection.
Birth – PreK
Preschool Ministry
Kids need a place to learn more about God’s love for them on their level. And let’s be real: you need someone to watch your kids so you can learn more about God’s love for you on your level.
In our Preschool classes, we begin to lay the foundation for a deep love of Jesus and his church in a safe and fun environment.
We also provide childcare during the week for when you are attending a Bible study, small group, or other class here at Cedar Springs.
It’s our privilege to partner with you in the discipleship of your kids.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Elementary Ministry
We know the Elementary years can be challenging for your family. As they begin to learn more about themselves and the world around them, we believe kids should have a safe place to learn about what it means to have a deep relationship with Jesus, the Bible, and what it means to be a part of the Church.
Sunday Morning
On Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am, our elementary-age kids learn about Jesus, worship, and have fun together. Our kids develop life-long friendships in small groups with gospel-centered lessons each week.
Our kids play, fellowship, and participate in Big Group Worship where they sing, watch a Bible video, and learn from one of our Bible teachers. Then we take it deeper by breaking into small groups so we can talk about what the Bible has to do with each of our lives.
Wednesday Nights – Fall 8 Weeks/Spring 8 Weeks
On Wednesday nights from 6 – 7:30pm, your kids have the opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible and a relationship with Jesus as they experience the Bible through games, journal time, and our Bible Immersion.
Ready to Worship!
Ready to Worship! is a program developed for kindergarten, first, and second graders to assist with the transition into worship in the sanctuary. Join us in the 8am service to discover why we worship, the parts of a Cedar Springs service, meet special guests, and learn strategies to help make worship in the sanctuary smoother for both kids and parents.

Where To Go
Our Preschool (birth-preK) meets on the first floor on both sides of the Mission Hall in the Education Building and our Elementary meets in the NEW Elementary Building.
Special Needs Ministry
At Cedar Springs, we embrace our friends and neighbors with special needs, recognizing them as precious gifts from God. We wholeheartedly commit to supporting, uplifting, and learning from them, with the belief that together we can discover the deeper meaning of the Kingdom of God. Our ultimate desire is to foster an environment where they and their families feel a profound sense of belonging, breaking through isolation and cultivating a community of unwavering presence, support, and encouragement. We long to communicate the Gospel effectively to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities knowing God has called us to equip and make disciples of all people.
