Come Serve With Us – Holidays

December 4, 2022

Start: 8:00 am

This time of year brings unique opportunities for the body of Christ to care for those in our community, and the Home Mission Ministry has identified several ways for you to participate. EVERYONE – whether it be families with children, couples, individuals, or groups of friends – is invited to serve with us this holiday season!

In 2021, our Thanksgiving Box Drive was one of the largest in Knoxville, allowing us to provide 1,000 local families with a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Due to the generosity of our church family, both financially and by giving sacrificially of your time, last year’s drive was such a huge success that we plan on increasing our number of boxes to 1,250 this Thanksgiving in order to meet increased needs in our city.

  1. Read Thanksgiving Box Information Flyer
  2. Sign up to work a shift assembling boxes
  3. Give to the Holiday Compassion Fund to help cover the expense of 1,250 Thanksgiving meals
  4. Print thanksgiving cards at home, color them, and bring them back before November 6

We can’t wait to serve alongside you again! Also in the months of November and December, we will participate in multiple Angel Tree type giftings, host several Thanksgiving and Christmas parties for families being served by our Home Mission ministry partners, and volunteer with various outreaches throughout our city. “Come Serve with Us” this holiday season!

Stop by the table in the Welcome Hall on Sundays to see about opportunities and to pick up a printed copy of the Come Serve Holiday Flipbook if you are unable to access the digital version.
