Men’s Ministry Retreat
Men, it’s that time again. Time to head back to the mountains for some rest, adventure, and, most importantly, time to meet with Jesus and each other.
From Friday, April 11 to Sunday, April 13, we’re gathering at the Montreat Retreat Center in North Carolina for our annual Men’s Retreat. Montreat stood strong through Hurricane Helene and is ready to host the men of Cedar Springs once again.
Montreat has consistently been for our men what the old Celtic metaphor calls a ‘thin place,’ a place where God is no more present there than he is in Knoxville, but where men consistently tell other men, “you will not come back the same man.”
Past attendees have found clarity in their calling, built lasting friendships, confessed sin, or simply taken time to breathe (and take a nap).
This year, we’ve added a tiered pricing system to help personalize your retreat experience.
Assembly Inn has been recently renovated and offers a hotel-like atmosphere. We’re offering up to 24 single rooms for those who prefer solitude or privacy. There are also 25 double rooms with two beds and a private bath, perfect for you and a friend.
For those who prefer the traditional retreat setting, we’re once again offering Winsborough Lodge across the lake. This space offers double rooms with private baths and open areas with a fireplace, creating a great environment for camaraderie.
Breakfast is provided on both Saturday and Sunday mornings, along with lunch on Saturday and dinner Saturday night. Dynamite Coffee Company will drop by both mornings as well.
Different activities will be available on Saturday afternoon for you to either relax, challenge a buddy, or maybe even learn a new hobby.
Register here or reach out to Stewart at stewartscott@cspc.net if you have other questions.
See you in the mountains!
