We believe that families should worship together and children are welcome and wanted in the sanctuary for worship. Every child is different, so for those that need some help transitioning into worship in the sanctuary, Cedar Springs Presbyterian is coming alongside families with Ready to Worship! for kindergarten, first, and second graders.

We’re excited to invite kids to our Ready to Worship program, designed especially for elementary-aged kids, Kindergarten to 2nd grade, attending the 8am service here at Cedar Springs. Here’s how it works: 

• Start Together: Children begin with their families in the main service. After songs and prayer, they’ll be dismissed to meet their teacher and head to the elementary building. 

• Digging into Acts: This season, we’ll be following the sermon series on the Book of Acts. Each Sunday, we’ll break down the Bible passage, explore the meaning of key words, and discover what the passage teaches us about God. 

• Learning to Worship: Kids will also learn how to be active participants in the worship service. We’ll explore the different parts of the service—what they mean and why they matter. 

• Engaging Activities: Our time together includes hands-on activities and movement to help kids connect with the message in fun and meaningful ways.
