Summer Sermon Series – How to Feel
Summer Sermon Series
May 31 – August 9
How to Feel: Emotions in the Book of Psalms
Join us this summer for our sermon series, “How to Feel,” as we dive into the emotional richness of the Book of Psalms.
This series invites participants to examine the emotional landscape depicted in the Psalms, fostering a deeper connection with both God and their own feelings. We will explore the understanding that all emotions—whether joy, sorrow, anger, or despair—are acknowledged by God and can be expressed in healthy and faithful ways. The central question we’ll cover is, “How can we engage our emotions through a biblical lens?”
“How to Feel: Emotions in the Book of Psalms” emphasizes that expressing our emotions can foster a closer relationship with God. By fully engaging with the wide array of human feelings present in the Psalms, participants will be equipped to navigate life’s highs and lows with authenticity, resilience, and hope.
Join us in the sanctuary on Sundays at 8:00 + 9:30 + 11 AM to hear from our summer guest speakers and pastors.
