Ministry Resident
Audy Smothers
Growing up in Pisgah, Alabama, a town of fewer than 800 people, gave me a deep appreciation for community and the value of investing in people. I came to faith in Christ during high school, and while in college, the Lord cultivated in me a passion for evangelism and intentional discipleship. Those experiences shaped a desire to spend my life helping others know Christ, grow in their faith, and faithfully make disciples. My previous role was serving as the Campus Director for Campus Outreach at the University of Tennessee. It is a privilege to walk alongside college students during one of the most influential seasons of their lives, encouraging them to love Christ, trust His Word, and live on mission wherever He calls them. I am convinced that God transforms lives through His Word, His Spirit, and the ministry of the local church, and I am grateful to play a small part in that work. My wife, Mariah, and I have been blessed with a daughter, Millie, whose joy and curiosity keep life fun and full. Outside of ministry, I enjoy cheering on Tennessee football, working out, fly fishing, reading biographies, playing competitive sports, discovering local food spots, and hunting whenever I have the opportunity.
