Associate Director of High School Ministry
Josh Douglass
A native of the great and beautiful state of California, Josh attended Biola University in Orange County, CA where he majored in Business Administration and began working in student ministry upon graduating in 2017. What started out as a last-minute favor for a roommate who needed extra leaders for middle school summer camp, quickly turned into a ministry internship and a burning passion for students to know Jesus and bring light to their communities. This passion brought Josh to Knoxville in 2019 to be a part of a year-long, post-grad ministry program called Telos Residency. After a short (but understandably turbulent) journey through spring and summer of 2020, he carved out a role as a barista and brand manager for a local coffee company, when ultimately, he found his way back to ministry at CSPC in August of 2022. Josh’s parents still live in California, but are in the process of moving to the Nashville area (classic), and he has a sister, Heather, who lives in the DC area. He enjoys good coffee, exploring cities, live music, and live sports (primarily baseball and soccer). If you’re looking for Josh but can’t find him, he’s either at a coffee shop, on a beach somewhere, or hiding inside from the cold weather.
