Matt Kerr

Matt and his wife Blair are both from Knoxville and have 4 amazing kids: Ella (21), Lizzie (19), Lydia (16) and Matty (6). After growing up at Cedar Springs, Matt moved away to attend Wake Forest University in North Carolina and then moved back to open the Knoxville branch of Scott Insurance. After a rewarding 24-year career there, God called he and his family into ministry, which turned into his beginning as a Ministry Resident in January 2024. While pursuing his Masters in Divinity through RTS, he will also learn everything he can to learn about all the ministries and people that make Cedar Springs unique and where God wants him to serve.
