Associate Director of Counseling Ministry
Stewart Scott
Stewart is originally from Texas, but the Army led him and his family to North Carolina in 2012 where he was stationed at Fort Bragg. Upon his exit from the military, Stewart joined the staff at their local church. He and his family eventually moved to Orlando, FL where he attended Reformed Theological Seminary and earned his Master’s in Counseling before the Lord led his family to Knoxville and CSPC in 2022. He served as a professional counselor at Ebenezer Counseling Services before coming on staff at Cedar Springs in 2024. Stewart is married to his wife Lindsay (a TN native and UT grad) and they have three young boys – Samuel, Eli, and Shepherd (or Sheppy Beppy as his brothers call him). Some of the things Stewart enjoys are reading, CrossFit, serving people, and simply being with friends. But his absolute favorite thing to do, and where you will find him most often, is spending time with his family- playing board games, kickball in the backyard, or watching Dude Perfect and Fixer Upper. Stewart is incredibly grateful to be a part of the Cedar Springs staff and is looking forward to seeing the Lord’s continued faithfulness among the wonderful people here!
