Men’s Ministry: Summer Fire Nights
Men’s Fire Nights
Tuesday, June 9 & Tuesday, August 11
6:00-9:00 PM
For some of you, some of the best conversations you ever had happened around a fire with good food and good men. This summer, we’re making space for exactly that.
Men’s Fire Nights are two evenings built for every man in our church — whether you’ve been part of Men’s Ministry for years or you’ve been meaning to get plugged in and just haven’t made the leap yet. Either way, there is a spot by the fire with your name on it.
What to Expect
Each night will take place over three hours together with worship that’s a little louder than your typical Sunday morning, honest and focused prayer, and teaching we’ll dig into together.
Then we’ll shift gears.
Fire pits in the parking lot. Food. Zero agenda. Men eating, laughing, and doing what men were made to do — building real relationships. You might be surprised how easy it is to go deep with a guy when there’s a plate of food in front of you and a fire nearby.
Why It Matters
We tend to overcomplicate discipleship. We think it requires a curriculum, a classroom, and a calendar full of scheduled steps.
It’s been said that in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus was either going to a meal, at a meal, or coming from a meal. So let’s start there, with a meal and a conversation.
We hope that these nights are proof of the simplicity of discipleship — and an invitation to carry that simplicity into your everyday life.
Who Should Come
Every man. Seriously. Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring that guy from work you’ve been meaning to invite somewhere. This is one of the easiest on-ramps into Men’s Ministry we’ve ever built, and we want the room full.
Men who attend will also be added to a GroupMe to stay connected long after the fire dies down.
Registration will open soon! Note: Registration is necessary to ensure we have enough food for everyone.
While we’d love for you to join us for both evenings, attending both is not required.
